Noodlestalgia
For those who live far from home, the taste from home is always a part of nostalgia. For me, the most nostalgic taste comes from my grandmother's handmade noodles. Noodlestalgia is a combination of my exploration of taste, nostalgic feeling and making skill. My grandmother's noodles are not made in a way as professional as those of a restaurant, but they still have the wisdom that has been handed down from ancestors of my family. Her upbringing was so closely tied with the skills of making noodles, which she could not put them into descriptional words. What I believe is that, the unspoken little tricks are exactly what make “family” a memorable taste.
